Yasmin sees the crow and hare across the clearing; Leya cannot. Later, Leya finds Yasmin unresponsive, with no breath she can detect and warmth beside cold on the same forehead. After Yasmin wakes, Leya compares her condition to the animals. The cause remains unknown.

Aevorath

The Veiled Emissary

Two Views of the Same Clearing

Selective manifestation

VERSE / COSMOLOGY UPDATE

Yasmin sees a star-filled blue sky, brightening leaves and luminous forms. Leya sees the ordinary morning clearing and her sister’s physical actions. When Yasmin touches the stone, she experiences herself standing while Leya sees her fall. Neither perspective explains the mechanism.

The being names the stone Nhaleth, The Listening Stone. Yasmin receives it in her right palm and still holds it after returning to the ordinary clearing. The being speaks of an earlier finding that Yasmin cannot recall. Its origin and the discrepancy remain unexplained.

Before Nhaleth settles into her right hand, Yasmin recognizes the circular red birthmark in her palm. It is familiar and unchanged. The being promises a future bond through that hand, but the mark does not glow or transform, and no new ability is demonstrated here.

Communion, Not Command

A promised bond with limits

VERSE / COSMOLOGY UPDATE

Words reach Yasmin through contact with the stone. The being promises later communication after an unperformed immersion and transfer of power. Even that promise allows unanswered calls and silences the speakers cannot cross. A working two-way bond has not been demonstrated.

Awaited Justice, Link and Greatness

Titles for a burden

LANGUAGE / SCRIPT / NAMING SYSTEM UPDATE

The being calls Yasmin Awaited Justice, Awaited Link and Awaited Greatness. Greatness is measured through choices, rather than crowns or conquest. “The choosing is not the victory.” These words name trials ahead; they do not confirm an outcome or grant Yasmin a demonstrated power.
