LEYA VELMARA
THE GIRL THE GATE REMEMBERED
HUMAN · ROOTMERE CHILD
THE QUESTIONING HEART OF THE VELMARA FAMILY
Leya Velmara is the six-year-old younger daughter of Henna and Beeda Velmara and the fiercely loyal younger sister of Yasmin. Small, warm, stubborn and openly expressive, she notices when adults hide behind half-answers and asks the questions fear would rather leave unspoken. Leya has no confirmed supernatural gift. Her strength is entirely human: emotional clarity, protective courage, fierce loyalty and a refusal to let Yasmin disappear into silence alone.
